Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union – 70 Years of Service and Still Growing
In June, Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union opened the doors to its newest branch in Quakertown. It is located in Trainers Corner shopping center, situated next to the newly configured traffic light on route 309.
The expansive 3,000 square foot tech-oriented branch offers a complete line of financial services and amenities, including an internet café, video monitor drive-through, and two ATMs. This location allows the Credit Union to conveniently serve members, families, and the business community all a bit closer to home.
Also, this year marks our 70th Anniversary of service. From our humble beginning with only one branch located in Philadelphia to then opening our first standalone branch in Lansdale in 1993. We now have opened our seventh and most technologically advanced location thus far. We have a long tradition of adding locations, products, and services to meet the changing needs of our members.
Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit banking institution run by a volunteer board of directors and wholly owned by our members. We care enough about our communities to invest locally by keeping banking matters “in the family.”
The Credit Union is excited to welcome the greater Quakertown community to visit the branch and discover the possibilities.
