Jaindl Farms is one of the largest turkey producers in the U.S., delivering 840,000 turkeys to its customers last year. The Jaindl family has always lived by the doctrine that they will conduct their business with the utmost of honesty and integrity. This tried-and-true purpose was forged back in 1936 when John L. Jaindl bought Fred Jaindl a few turkeys at the county fair. Fred, an exuberant and ambitious boy, raised those first turkeys into a calling — a business that grew so much larger than they could ever have imagined. What started as a family-run turkey farm, their family business has blossomed into an enterprise that focuses on the growth and success of the community. The family acquired Twin Lakes with a vision to bring back the rich tradition of golf in Lehigh Valley and invest in the community where they live and work.
Formerly known as Iron Lakes Country Club, The Club at Twin Lakes has long been recognized as one of the top public courses in Lehigh Valley. Opened in 1954 on the grounds of a former iron ore mine, Twin Lakes’ 6,400-yard, par-71 layout features four sets of tees for players of varying experience, sloping fairways, and several scenic par- 3 holes that play over water with the hired expertise of Kempersports to manage the course. The property also features a clubhouse and a fully equipped golf shop.
